The Church of Christ
The inspired physician Luke began his Gospel record to Theophilus with these words; “Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us,” Luke 1:1
Jude writes in Jude vs 3 “Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.”

The “common salvation” revolves around “those things which are most surely believed among us.” A simple common plan “once delivered” for all which produces a common faith for all. Those things which we find in common bring a distinction. His plan serves to define, identify, and separate. The common faith is easily recognized in how we worship and strive to live our lives.
Both matter for in John 17:9-23 Jesus prayed for His disciples to all be one. Even as He and the Father are one so “that the world may know that thou hast sent me.”
We can be one when governed by the same pattern.
Allow us to introduce you to the Lord’s church which meets in Jonesboro, Louisiana through “those things which most surely are believed among us.”
